Hi!

I'm Mendivan, founder of Mendivan Art & Tattoo Studio.

I began my work as a tattooist first and foremost as an artist. From a young age I enjoyed drawing, and later enrolled at the Lusófona University in Lisbon, Portugal, to study Product Design.

I moved to Great Yarmouth in 2013. I had always been interested in the art of tattooing, but it wasn't until I was living here that I began to work towards becoming a qualified tattooist, and opening my studio.

My tattoo shop doubles as a studio for my creative projects, such as illustrated portraits, customising shoes, and participating in different arts projects around Great Yarmouth and further afield. The latest projects I contributed to were drawing workshops for young people in Great Yarmouth with the organisation GYROS, and a creative anthology published by Norfolk Library.

In my free time I practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: I am currently a blue belt, and an active member of Gracie Barra Great Yarmouth.
